deterioration and wear.
3.3.8 Electromagnetic interference control. When specified
(see
6.2),
equipment furnished under
his specification shall comply with MIL-STD-461.
The equipment and subsystem(s) class and the emission - and susceptibility
requirements shall be as specified.
3.4 Components, and specific requirements.
3.4.1 Type I machine. Type I machines shall consist of not less than a
base, spindle assembly, jaw assembly, lubrication system, electrical system,
system,
and the other components required to meet requirements specified herein. When
specified (see 6.2), Type I machines shall be provided with an automatic
sequence of operation control.
3.4.1.1 Base. The machine shall have a base of adequate strength to with-
stand forces applied while the machine is operating at its maximum rated
capacity.
The base shall be a workbench mounted, base cabinet style, or floor
stand style, as specified and fully described (see 6.2). When machine
components are enclosed within the base, base cabinet or floor stand,
